The promotion is open to Kenyan residents aged above 18 years who choose to participate but will exclude the staff of Choppies Kenya Limited and any other party directly involved with this promotion and their immediate families and dependents.

This promotion will run from 1st December 2018 to 30th January 2019.

This will be a Lucky dip form of winner selection. There will be a total of 4 draws with the 4th draw being the final draw. The Raffle boxes will be sealed branch wise one hour to the draw. The draw will be graced by Jalang’o, Choppies representative and conducted by BCLB representative. The Representatives will select the winners. A branch wise for the consolation prizes with the draw boxes named with the individual branch names will also be done for the 1st draw to the 4th draw. The winners will be announced to the audience and Jalang’o will call the winner to announce the win. The winners will be required to present their National Identification Card at the Branch to claim the prize.

The winners will be contacted via phone by a Choppies Representative through the participant’s contact numbers submitted in the application vouchers. The following Customer Care Phone number will be used to contact the winners: +254 791 334455. Any unclaimed prizes will be surrendered to Betting Control & Licensing Board by 31/04/2019

All winners have up to three (3) months after end of promotion period to claim their prizes and any unclaimed will be surrendered to Betting Control & Licensing Board.

1. CHOPPIES shall use the information provided by the participants for all matters relating to this Promotion and for the following purposes during the duration of the Campaign only:

a)        Administering the Promotion. b)        Marketing and research related activities. c)         Fraud prevention and law enforcement. d)        Such other purposes as may be provided in the terms and conditions herein and the law.

2. By agreeing to participate in the promotion, the participants agree that their name, picture and their details can be made public in such media as CHOPPIES may choose (including but not limited to the internet) and that they will participate in all public relations, marketing and activities relating to the competition during the duration of the Campaign only.
3. All ownership and intellectual property rights on the footage and visuals taken of any participant, his/her family and surrounding onlookers is and shall at all times remain the sole property CHOPPIES to be used as by CHOPPIES as described herein in number 7 (1.)

The Promotion is offered at the sole discretion of CHOPPIES and any variations in terms and condition, will only be in consultation with BCLB, accrediting CHOPPIES to have the right to amend or to withdraw/terminate the Promotion at any time. In any of these events, notice will be given via media advertisements and will be effective immediately or at such time as notified. 8A. CHOPPIES, under consultations with BCLB, reserves the right to terminate any participation in the promotion with immediate effect in the following circumstances: - Upon any detection of fraud or attempted fraud relating to the participant’s registration; - Breach of any of these terms and conditions; - Any other circumstances, will also be determined by CHOPPIES in consultation with BCLB. - 8B. If participation in the promotion is terminated under any of the circumstances set out above any benefits related thereto will be deemed forfeited. In addition, CHOPPIES, in consultation with BCLB, reserves the right to take appropriate legal action and to recover damages and other expenses incurred in pursuing such action from the participant concerned.

9A. These terms and conditions are subject to interpretation by CHOPPIES in consultation with BCLB and any questions or disputes regarding Participants eligibility for the promotion, the number of entries and a Participant’s compliance with these terms and conditions shall be resolved by CHOPPIES, only under consultation with BCLB and the decisions reached thereafter shall be final. 9B. Although CHOPPIES have used reasonable efforts to ensure that all information and materials relating to the Promotion are accurate, Choppies shall not be liable for any inaccuracy or errors in such information and/or material. 9C. Choppies, its agents and sub-contractors will also not bear responsibility for any loss or damage to a participant, whether caused by self or any third party, arising from: - 1. Matters outside the control of Choppies, its agents and sub-contractors including but not limited to force majeure events such as acts of God, computer viruses, power outages, etc; 2. Any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any machine, telephone network or system, service provider software. 3. Any unforeseen defects in promotional materials supplied or manufactured by third parties including but not limited to tokens. 4. Any acts of negligence by the Employees of Choppies or any of Choppies’s agents, associates and assigns. 9D. The Promotion remains subject all applicable laws.
